Joseph Guy Ropartz (Guingamp, June 15 1864 – November 22 1955) was a French composer and conductor. His compositions involved 5 symphonies, three violin sonatas, cello sonatas, six string quartets, several operas, a total of choral works and more music including the Prelude, Marine et Chansons for flute, harp & string trio.
